Effective 12 October 2026 · Version 2.0

Terms of Service — Kuwait

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

WoWPrep Academy is provided under the registered business name WoWPrep (ABN 59 194 029 687), an Australian sole-trader business. In these Terms, “WoWPrep”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the business operator identified by that ABN. WoWPrep is a registered business name, not a separate incorporated company.

These Terms apply to our Kuwait University Admission Test (KUAT) preparation website, app, accounts, diagnostics, practice questions, practice tests, mock exams, Free and Plus access, support and related services offered for Kuwait. They do not describe another country's products or prices.

Contact: support@wowprepacademy.com. Website: https://wowprepacademy.com. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information: https://wowprepacademy.com/privacy.

Please read these Terms before creating an account or paying. When an acceptance step is presented, you must affirmatively accept these Terms to proceed. The purchaser also accepts the purchase terms shown at checkout. We record acceptance in the service, subject to the retention arrangements in the Privacy Policy. Acknowledging the Privacy Policy means that its information has been brought to your attention; it is not blanket consent to optional marketing, tracking or unrelated processing. Browsing a public page does not, by itself, accept undisclosed purchase obligations.

2. Mandatory rights come first

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, privacy right, remedy, liability or other protection that applicable law does not permit us to exclude, restrict or modify. This includes the Australian Consumer Law where it applies and mandatory protections under applicable Kuwaiti law.

Every exclusion, limitation, no-refund provision, indemnity and restriction in these Terms is subject to this section. If a provision conflicts with a mandatory protection, that protection prevails to the extent of the conflict. We do not represent that selecting Australian law removes protections that apply to you in Kuwait.

3. Eligibility, minors and account security

You must provide the accurate information required to set up and operate your account, including your email, market, subject choices and any required age band. English and Arabic interfaces are available where offered. Your selected language does not change your purchased subjects, access period or usage limits. You must meet the eligibility requirements stated in the signup flow. Do not use another person's identity or misstate your age to bypass safeguards.

If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian and complete the guardian-approval process required by the signup flow. Access remains subject to the approval and eligibility restrictions shown in that flow. Adult users follow the adult registration process. If the signup process does not permit your age group, or requires approval that has not been obtained, do not create or use an account through another route. A payment alone is not proof of legal guardianship. Nor is it consent to every use of personal information, or acceptance on behalf of a child.

Accounts are for one learner. Keep passwords and other credentials private. Do not sell, lend, transfer or share an account, or give another person access to a paid learner account. Notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may use proportionate security checks, including limits on repeated sign-in and other requests. We may temporarily restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect an account or the service.

Sign-in is by email and password. Google sign-in is available only for accounts that are already linked to Google; new accounts cannot currently be created with Google.

4. Educational purpose; no official affiliation or outcome guarantee

WoWPrep is an independent exam-preparation service. Unless expressly stated otherwise with authorisation, it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Kuwait University, an admissions body, a government authority or an examination provider. References to institutions or exams identify the preparation context only.

Our questions, explanations, diagnostic results, mastery estimates, practice scores and recommendations are learning aids. They are not official examination results, admission decisions, accredited qualifications or professional advice, and they don't guarantee future performance. We do not guarantee any score, improvement, admission, scholarship or examination outcome.

Official requirements, formats, dates, syllabuses and admission rules can change independently of us. Check current requirements directly with the relevant institution or authority. Do not rely on a practice score as proof that you will obtain the same score in an official examination. These statements do not excuse failure to provide the paid service as described or with the care and quality required by law.

5. Free access, Plus passes and usage limits

Free features and limits are shown in the product interface. A free preview does not provide all paid features, and does not promise that a particular free feature will stay available indefinitely.

For the current Kuwait Plus offer, a pass is a one-time purchase of three months of access for the subjects identified at checkout. It is not an automatically renewing subscription. We do not automatically renew it or charge you at expiry; continuing requires a new purchase.

The current Plus limits are:

  • Practice questions: 20 per day across your account. A question counts towards the limit when it is shown to you, whether or not you answer it. The limit resets at midnight, Kuwait time.
  • Practice tests: five per week across your account, not five per subject. The weekly allowance resets on Monday, Kuwait time. Practice tests currently run for 15 minutes and submit automatically when time runs out.
  • Full-length mock exams: five per purchased subject, usable during that subject's mock period described below. That's not five per week, and not five shared across all subjects.

Unused allowances have no cash value and do not roll over. Buying more access does not restore allowances that have expired.

Buying again while a pass is active. This is how the service currently works:

  • Your account has one access end date for all your subjects.
  • Adding a new subject at checkout:
    • The new subject unlocks as soon as your payment is confirmed.
    • Your account's end date moves to three months after your current end date. The new date applies to every subject on your account, including subjects you bought earlier.
    • The new subject's five mock exams become usable from your current end date until the new end date. Until then you can practise that subject, but its mock exams are not yet available.
    • Mock exams for subjects you bought earlier remain usable only until the end of the pass they were bought under. After that, those subjects stay unlocked until the new end date, but they have no remaining mock exams.
  • Buying a subject you already have: checkout describes this as stacking. Your end date moves three months later, and that subject's next five mock exams become usable from your current end date.
  • Adding a subject through the in-app upgrade option, where it is offered: the subject is added to your current pass with the same end date. Its five mock exams are usable immediately.

The duration and mock-availability rules above apply to the relevant purchase route. Your account shows the resulting access after payment confirmation; checkout does not currently show the resulting end date for every added-subject purchase. If you need clarification about a repeat purchase, contact support before paying. Contact support if the confirmed subjects or entitlements differ from what was represented when you purchased. These Terms do not remove a remedy for an incorrect or misleading purchase disclosure.

Your confirmed order, together with these Terms, determines the purchased entitlement. We may change offers for future purchases. We will not retrospectively reduce the core access period, purchased subjects or stated paid allowances of an existing purchase without your agreement, or an applicable legal basis and any remedy required by law.

6. Prices, currency, payment and access

Prices and discounts are displayed before payment. Prices are shown in Kuwaiti dinars (KWD), and payment is charged in US dollars (USD). Checkout states that payment is charged in USD, and the payment page shows the exact USD amount before you pay. The amount you authorise on the payment page is the payment amount. A displayed KWD price is a reference, not a promise of the amount your bank will debit.

Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may apply its own conversion rate or fees. We do not control those rates or fees. Any taxes or charges that we collect are disclosed before you authorise payment. Promotional terms, eligibility and expiry are shown with the offer. A promotion does not change the non-renewing nature of a pass.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Access is granted once our system has confirmed the payment. A bank authorisation or a checkout screen alone may not mean an order has completed. Contact support if you were charged but cannot access the confirmed purchase. We never ask you to send full card details or security codes to support.

You must be authorised to use the payment method. We may investigate suspected payment fraud or duplicate transactions and apply proportionate safeguards. Nothing here prevents a lawful, good-faith payment dispute or the exercise of statutory rights. We do not impose a contractual penalty merely for raising such a dispute.

7. Refunds and cancellation

We do not offer voluntary refunds for a change of mind. Subject to section 2, we do not refund a valid purchase simply because you:

  • do not use it or stop studying;
  • change your examination plans;
  • achieve a different result than expected;
  • bought the wrong subjects after they were correctly disclosed;
  • later find a different offer.

Unused days, allowances and attempts cannot be exchanged for money.

Digital access may begin after payment confirmation. Starting access or using the service does not waive a refund, cancellation or other remedy required by law. We do not use a blanket “no refunds under any circumstances” rule.

If the service is defective, materially not as described or not supplied, or otherwise gives rise to a legal remedy, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law. If a duplicate or erroneous charge is confirmed, we will correct it. A request to close an account does not create an additional voluntary refund right, and it does not extinguish an existing legal right.

For a payment or service problem, email support@wowprepacademy.com with:

  • your account email;
  • the payment date;
  • the transaction reference, if available;
  • a description of the problem.

Do not include full card numbers or security codes. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the purchase and investigate. We will not impose conditions that unlawfully obstruct a remedy.

8. Timed attempts and integrity features

Before starting a practice test, a mock exam or an integrity-enabled mode, read the rules shown for that mode. Depending on the mode, they may cover:

  • device or browser requirements;
  • a timer and automatic submission;
  • when an attempt is used up;
  • navigation restrictions;
  • whether an interrupted attempt can resume.

Do not assume that every mode has the same rules.

In modes that enable integrity checks, we may record limited events, as described in the Privacy Policy:

  • start and end times, and question timing;
  • fullscreen exits and tab or focus changes;
  • copy and paste attempts;
  • disconnections.

These are practice integrity signals, not proof of cheating or an official misconduct finding. An integrity indicator, where shown to you, may affect how a practice result is labelled or used for recommendations.

These integrity checks do not record your webcam, microphone, screen contents, keystroke contents or clipboard contents. If you believe a technical fault wrongly used up an attempt or affected a result, contact support. We will investigate, and correct a confirmed service fault or provide a remedy where required, rather than treating every interruption as automatically your fault.

9. Parents, guardians and payers

Where enabled, the guardian process allows a parent or legal guardian to review and approve a learner's request, and to purchase access through the designated purchase link. It does not require a guardian learner account and does not provide a parent dashboard or unrestricted progress access.

A person approving a request must be authorised to act as the learner's parent or legal guardian. They must read the request and any declaration presented, provide accurate details, and accept the purchaser terms if they pay. Payment alone is not proof of guardianship or consent to every use of the learner's information.

Approval and purchase links are time-limited. An expired link cannot complete the action and may require a new request. Do not forward private links to someone who is not authorised to use them.

For a guardian-paid purchase, the learner receives their own welcome/access email and the guardian receives a separate payment receipt. A guardian receipt is not a learner login or dashboard link. Messages use the learner's app language or the guardian request language where supported; English may be used if the relevant preference is unavailable.

An adult paying for a learner does not acquire access to the learner's account, answers, detailed activity or private support messages. Any additional disclosure requires an appropriate legal basis and authority. We may verify identity and authority before responding to a request about a learner. Paying does not override the learner's privacy rights.

Contact support about mistaken guardian details, suspected unauthorised approval or a request to change or withdraw permission. We assess the request according to applicable law and the account or transaction involved; withdrawal does not automatically erase records that must lawfully be kept or create a voluntary refund right.

10. Licence and intellectual property

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for your own study during your permitted access. This does not transfer ownership of our software, question-bank expression, explanations, branding, designs or other protected content. Those materials belong to us or the relevant rights holders.

Do not reproduce, distribute, sell, commercially exploit or systematically extract protected content without permission. Do not use service content to:

  • build a competing question bank;
  • provide an unauthorised tutoring or content service;
  • train or populate an external AI system.

Ordinary personal study using the features we provide is allowed. These restrictions do not remove rights or exceptions that applicable law does not permit us to restrict, including applicable accessibility and intellectual-property exceptions.

We do not claim ownership of general mathematical or scientific facts, standard curriculum concepts or third-party materials merely because they appear in our service. Institution names and third-party marks belong to their owners.

11. Prohibited conduct

You must not use the service to:

  • commit fraud or impersonate another person;
  • harass others or upload unlawful content;
  • access another account;
  • distribute malware;
  • bypass payment or eligibility controls, or manipulate allowances;
  • attack infrastructure or interfere with service availability.

Do not use unauthorised bots or automated access, scrape restricted learning content, defeat access controls, or attempt to obtain non-public data or secrets. Do not attempt to defeat integrity controls in a mode that requires them. This does not prohibit a legally protected act, authorised security testing, or permitted assistive technology used without defeating security or paid-access restrictions.

If you find a security vulnerability, report it privately to support. Don't access more information than necessary, expose another user's information or disrupt the service. Reporting a concern does not authorise further testing.

12. Your submissions and feedback

You keep any intellectual-property rights you have in feedback, issue reports and other material you submit. You give us a non-exclusive permission to use that material to:

  • operate the service;
  • answer your request;
  • investigate issues;
  • make reasonable improvements.

We will not publish identifiable testimonials, screenshots or personal support messages without appropriate permission.

This permission is limited by the Privacy Policy and applicable law. It does not transfer ownership of personal information, and it is not a licence to sell learner data or blanket permission to train external AI models on identifiable student submissions. Do not send unlawful material, or third-party material that you are not authorised to provide.

13. Availability, corrections and service changes

We use reasonable efforts to maintain the service. We cannot promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, or the absence of every error. Maintenance, security incidents, infrastructure failures and events beyond our reasonable control may interrupt access. We will take reasonable steps to investigate material problems and restore affected services.

We may correct errors, update explanations, change presentation and make reasonable technical or security changes. We will not use this section to remove the substance of an already purchased service without the notice, consent or remedy required by law. If we permanently discontinue a material paid service during your paid access period, we will notify affected users and provide any remedy required by law.

Check any stated device and internet requirements before purchasing. We do not control your device, internet connection or third-party websites. Using a third-party supplier does not relieve us of responsibilities that the law places on us for our own service.

14. Suspension, termination and account closure

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to investigate credible account compromise, fraud, serious misuse, unlawful activity, a material breach of these Terms or a security threat. Restrictions will be proportionate to the risk. Where practicable and appropriate, we will explain the reason and let you respond or fix the issue before permanent termination. We may act immediately where delay would create a material security, legal or safety risk.

We may terminate access for a substantiated serious breach, or a repeated material breach, after reasonable notice where appropriate. We do not terminate paid access merely because you complain, seek a lawful refund or raise a good-faith dispute. You may ask support to review an access decision.

You may ask support to close your account. Account closure is currently a manual process carried out by our team. The Privacy Policy, section 9, explains what is deleted and the current limitations. Closure ends access to your learning history and any remaining entitlements. Termination or closure does not remove accrued rights or remedies. Keeping payment for unused access remains subject to section 2; this is not an automatic forfeiture provision.

15. Disclaimers and limits of liability

Subject to section 2 and to the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and representations that the service will:

  • be uninterrupted or error-free;
  • be compatible with every device;
  • achieve a particular academic or admissions outcome.

We do not exclude an express commitment made in your confirmed order, or a legal obligation about the quality of our service.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. That includes loss of profits, commercial opportunity or anticipated savings. A loss is not excluded merely because we describe it as consequential, if applicable law requires compensation for it.

Subject to the exceptions below and to the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, is limited to the greater of:

  • (a) the fees paid to us for your affected learner account in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim; and
  • (b) AUD 100.

This covers liability arising from or connected with the service or these Terms. Amounts paid in another currency will be assessed using a reasonable applicable exchange rate.

The exclusions and cap do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or to our fraud or wilful misconduct. They do not restrict mandatory consumer remedies, legally non-excludable privacy obligations, or any other protection preserved by section 2. We do not represent that a resupply-only remedy or this cap necessarily limits a statutory consumer remedy.

16. Limited responsibility for third-party claims

If you are an adult, you are responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for reasonable losses we incur from a substantiated third-party claim that was directly caused by:

  • your deliberate infringement of that third party's intellectual property through the service;
  • your intentional fraud; or
  • your deliberate unlawful attack on the service.

You are responsible only to the extent the loss was caused by that conduct.

This provision does not apply to a minor, ordinary study errors, a good-faith complaint, or losses caused by our own breach, negligence or wilful misconduct. We must:

  • take reasonable steps to mitigate the loss;
  • notify you of the claim;
  • give you a reasonable opportunity to take part in handling it.

We will not agree a settlement that imposes an admission or non-monetary obligation on you without your consent. No amount may be recovered twice.

17. Privacy and communications

We handle personal information under our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Acknowledging that policy is not consent to optional advertising, tracking, unrelated processing or every future policy change.

We may send necessary account, security, verification, purchase, access-expiry and support messages. Optional marketing is subject to applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary service messages. A service email does not create a new payment obligation, or extend access, unless it expressly confirms a valid change.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect lawful service changes, security requirements or legal obligations. We publish the new version and its effective date, and give reasonable notice of material changes through an appropriate channel. Where the law or the nature of a change requires renewed acceptance, we will obtain it.

We will not retrospectively remove accrued rights, or materially reduce an existing paid entitlement, merely by posting new Terms. If a material change to a paid arrangement requires your agreement and you do not agree, we will deal with the existing arrangement and any applicable remedy, rather than treat silence as unconditional acceptance. You can contact support to request the applicable earlier version. A new version does not retrospectively replace the terms that governed an earlier purchase.

19. Complaints, governing law and courts; no arbitration

Please contact support@wowprepacademy.com with a complaint so we can try to resolve it. This is a request to seek a practical resolution. It is not a mandatory barrier to a regulator, a court, a payment dispute, urgent relief or a statutory deadline.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, except to the extent mandatory law requires otherwise. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. This does not prevent proceedings in another court where applicable law permits or requires them, including a competent court in Kuwait.

These Terms contain no compulsory arbitration requirement and no class-action waiver. Nothing prevents a complaint to a competent regulator, or use of a statutory dispute-resolution process.

20. Other provisions and contact

These Terms and the confirmed purchase disclosures govern the service contract. The Privacy Policy governs how we handle personal information. Any inconsistency must be resolved consistently with mandatory law, and without removing a specific entitlement confirmed at checkout. Nothing excludes liability for a representation where the law does not permit exclusion.

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues to the extent legally possible. Not enforcing a provision immediately is not a waiver. Any assignment or transfer of our obligations must be lawful, and must not reduce your existing paid entitlements or privacy protections. We will give notice and obtain consent where required.
